The Sonocaddie V300 displays the distance to front, back and middle of the green from whereever you are on the course despite the fact that you are not in line of site of the green. The Distance Calculator function may be used (by pressing ‘mark’). So it’s useful to learn how far you hit each club in your bag. Simply press the button, walk to your ball and press again and it will store how far you hit each club.
With so much going on with the screen you might expect that the screen maybe slightly cluttered and difficult to read the important information that you need. This is definitely not the case with the Sonocaddie it’s intuitive software with simple easy to use function keys make it a breeze. You can even adjust the backlighting so viewing it should not be a issue even in bright sunlight. All the above and it still gives a good battery life from full charge giving up to 15hours use.Another great feature that seems a trend with the newer breed of Golf GPS systems is the ability to track scores, distance and everything to do with you round for later comparison.
